Do you have demonstrable experience of enhancing pupil achievement and improving the outcomes for children and young people?
If yes, we want to hear from you.
Our highly regarded School Improvement Service provides leadership, support and challenge to schools and is committed to raising standards of achievement and improving the quality of education for all learners. In other words ‘Good’ is not good enough.
Our team already has an impressive track record, as 75% of our primary schools have achieved an overall effectiveness judgement of ‘good or better’ and only one school is in the OfSTED category of “Notice to Improve”. Also, a number of our schools hold the NACE Challenge Award and the Basic Skills Quality Mark.
With the previous incumbent moving on to work at a regional level, we are recruiting a replacement for our small team.
Joining us with significant demonstrable experience as a primary Deputy/Head teacher and a proven track record in school improvement, you will:
• Work closely with a link group of primary schools by offering support, guidance and challenge to headteachers, staff and governors
• Provide brokered school support through a service level agreement
• Support the work of the LA governor services team by contributing to the planning and delivery of training for school governors on school improvement
If you are a strong school leader with a proven track record of delivering outstanding results in raising performance standards, then this role is for you.
