Maternity cover from July 2011 for up to one year
This full time post will be based in our investigation and enforcement team and will require current competency in both food safety and health and safety matters. A sound understanding of general operational environmental health matters would also be useful.
You will have an approved Environmental Health Degree and Certificate of Registration from the Environmental Health Officers Registration Board or a Diploma in Environmental Health.
Salary will be depend upon qualifications and experience, and applicants who have passed the assessment of professional competence/development will be eligible for the upper salary scale.
The Environmental Health Service is based in Welwyn Garden City, which, together with Hatfield, form the main population centres of this pleasant Hertfordshire district.
