Suffolk Coastal and Waveney District Councils have a long standing shared service partnership that serves a joint population of over 250,000 with a single staff workforce that supports both Councils. Our two Councils stretch along the east coast of Suffolk, with all of the unique challenges, opportunities and benefits that such a superb area and environment brings.
Following the retirement of one of our Strategic Directors we are looking to appoint a replacement as soon as possible. As the new Strategic Director you will play a key role in all aspects of our work:
- You will be at the core of our work on transforming services and collaborating with partners;
- You will lead on major projects and on developing innovative service delivery;
- You will provide leadership, be an inspiring and effective communicator, and have the range of skills needed to be effective in this key role.
There is no doubt this is a challenging role, but it is also incredibly rewarding and satisfying.
