Minimum of 10 hours per week covering holidays and toil leave of full time Porters.
Attendance allowance and shift allowance is included.
You will be responsible for the opening and securing of premises within the Authority’s complex. You will be responsible for the preparation of meeting rooms, receipt and sorting of post and courier service to local offices and internal complex. The ability to carry out minor maintenance tasks may be required from time to time.
The service operates on a rota system of early and late shifts with evening work necessary. Emergency standby duties are carried out by the person working the late shift and occasional weekend work is necessary. Relief cover for holiday, sickness and busy periods will be provided by this post.
It is essential that you have knowledge of the road network in the Waveney District, be able to work unsupervised and communicate both verbally and in writing to all levels of staff and elected members.
