At the South West Regional Development Agency our most important role is to lead the regions transformation to a low carbon and resource efficient economy. To help us deliver this aim we now have an exciting opportunity to join our Environment Team as an Environment Coordinator
We are looking for a resourceful and committed coordinator with a high level of initiative who can provide technical, administrative and organisational support to our busy Environment Team.
As a key and integral member of the team the coordinator will assist in the:
• preparation of project, financial and programme documentation and the monitoring of progress and budgets
• management of the Agency’s Environmental Management System
• researching and gathering environmental information and data
• organisation of key meetings and events
You will have a confident personality with good communication skills both orally and written, able to multi-task, work flexibly, using your own initiative and to tight deadlines. Experience or an interest in environment, climate change and the concept of sustainable development would be beneficial.
