The Rochford Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership have had the biggest % in decrease in all crime across the whole of the Eastern Region. Rochford District, the Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership and the community safety team are very proud of this achievement.
To ensure we maintain this good work and in order that we meet our objectives, we are looking to recruit a part time Assistant Community Safety Officer to cover the existing postholder’s maternity leave. You will be a member of a small team, under the direction of the Community Safety Co-ordinator, working in partnership to identify and implement effective ways of addressing and reducing incidents of anti-social behaviour and crime and disorder across the District.
You will have knowledge of budget and finance, performance monitoring and analysis with additional experience of having worked as part of a team. Ideally we’d like you to have some knowledge of the Crime and Disorder regulations but most important of all, you will have a passion for making a positive difference for our community.
You must hold a full current driving licence and have use of a vehicle.
This vacancy is initially advertised for 3 months but may be extended.
