We are looking for a qualified Social Worker/Manager with significant post qualifying experience to complement our existing Safeguarding and Quality Assurance Team.
Working in a dynamic and multi-cultural urban community, you will need experience of working at a senior level in the profession, in partnership with children, families and other agencies. In return, we offer a real commitment to support your learning and practice including regular professional supervision and excellent learning and development opportunities. The department is managing the across service and partner agency training in the Signs of Safety Framework. You will be trained in using the Framework in completing the annual and extraordinary Foster Carer Reviews and Reg 33 Inspections of Reading Borough Council’s two children’s homes for disabled children.
