We are looking to recruit a Financial Control Officer into the Financial Control Team at RBWM. Working as part of this team you will have the opportunity to gain experience in a variety of areas of Local Authority Finance.
You will ideally have experience of bank reconciliations, ensuring income is allocated correctly, transaction processing and interrogating the financial ledgers of an accounting system. You will be competent in using and setting up complex Excel spreadsheets, have excellent analytical skills, be a good communicator and team player and be willing to learn new skills.
We require someone with strong maths skills – including a minimum of grade C at GCSE. Qualifications required is 5 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English. Prior experience of working in a Finance Department of a local authority and working towards AAT would be desirable.
