We are seeking to appoint a full time Enquiries and Digital Officer within the Libraries – Information and Digital Delivery team. The role includes covering Information Points, answering enquiries and supporting customers on computers.
As first point of contact you will have high levels of customer care and enjoy reading and promoting stock including 24 hour access to Online Resources and Audio and eBooks to customers.
You will also have responsibility for designated areas of Non-Fiction stock and contribute to a range of other team projects to improve the service offered to residents.
Previous work in a library environment would be an advantage.
Hours of work will be on a fixed 4 week rota, including regular evening and weekends including a Saturday and Sunday to cover library opening hours. The scope of the work is physical in nature with staff required to remain on their feet for the duration of a shift.
