Social Care in Peterborough has undergone a transformation in the way it conducts its business and manages performance. We’ve restructured, relocated and we’ve grown our establishment and are looking to fill a number of additional posts.

The recent unannounced inspection reported that “referrals are timely, consistent and help keep children safe”.

We are continuing to grow our traditional fieldwork teams and require a practitioner with at least 3 years post-qualifying experience including being in post as a team manager, with a keen interest in the management for children in care.

This service is responsible for children in care who are placed permanently away from home, for example, in foster care, family and friends carers or residential care. The team is responsible for managing the care plans of those children in their placement, which requires a statutory review of the arrangement and care plans.
