Social Care in Peterborough has undergone a transformation in the way it conducts its business and manages performance. We’ve restructured, relocated and we’ve grown our establishment and are looking to fill a number of additional posts.
The recent unannounced inspection reported that “referrals are timely, consistent and help keep children safe”.
We are continuing to grow our traditional fieldwork teams and require a practitioner with at least 3 years post-qualifying experience including being in post as a Team Manager, with a keen interest in adoption and permanence for children.
We have one of the best performing adoptions teams in the Country in terms of securing adoptive placements for children. The service exists to recruit, assess, approve and support adoptive families for the city’s looked after children.
