With 2 years experience in assessing Housing and Council Tax Benefits, you will assess all types of benefit claims and changes to claims using several computer systems, ensuring that the correct evidence and information is obtained in accordance with the standards required by the national verification framework and local procedures.
You should have GCSE (or equivalent) at grade C or above including Mathematics and English, as well as the ability to work to deadlines in a performance driven office and to be able to accurately interpret written instructions and procedures.
There will be the option to work from home following an initial training period.
