The Young People’s Service has several exciting opportunities available in the city for people who think they can make a positive difference to young people’s lives.
You will engage young people in discussions around their personal and social development issues which affect them and their communities. An NVQ2 (or equivalent) in youth work is desirable and it is essential that you are willing to develop your professional skills in this area. You will need to be available to work at least 2/3 evenings per week in local community based youth projects.
