This is a one year fixed term contract / secondment opportunity.
You will develop a programme of taster sessions, raising awareness of all Post-16 and Work Based Learning opportunities for learners with LLDD needs. This will involve leading, negotiating and developing individual sessions for each young person, working from their learning plan or assessment, with all relevant agencies. By collaborating with key personnel and support services, you will ensure that learners have access to the help they need to make well-informed choices.
In addition to an advanced education with experience of education, special needs, health, social work or careers, you should have a significant professional history in SEN/LLD, as well as the empathy and interpersonal skills to connect with young people.
