Why work for Jobsgopublic?

Jobsgopublic is a small company with big ambitions. We love what we do and are dedicated to the people we work with. The great thing in being small is that everyone who joins becomes a large contributor to the team, so finding the right person is important to us. We want people with drive, passion, innovation and talent to help take Jobsgopublic & JGP to the next level in online recruitment, and maximise market opportunities.

We have been at the forefront of public sector recruitment for over 10 years, and our innovation and passion is evident in the people we hire and the work we do. Work isn’t all we do, we all have a life and achieving the work-life balance is part of the job. It’s an understatement to say that our performance is not a traditional 9-5.30pm type job.
   

Where we work

  

In 2008 we moved into a large warehouse space not far from Brick Lane and in fact, the same building where they film ‘Dragons Den’. We are creating a work environment that helps us ‘do what we do best’. Our coffee machine provides a plentiful supply of the good stuff, and our Freaky Friday ‘wind-downs’ allow an opportunity for the team to get together, relax and finish the week. Alternatively the competitive side usually comes out at this time, and it’s not uncommon to find a serious game of Foosball or a boxing match on the Nintendo Wii providing a load of entertainment.

A technical company that ‘gives a damn’ about their employees. We are few and far between but it sums up what makes Jobsgopublic tick. The offices are large and spacious, the atmosphere is always busy sometimes hectic, but the down-time includes a Nintendo Wii, Foosball table, unicycle, wobble board and plenty of laughs. And you even get to play with Play-Doh at our reception.

Jobsgopublic are all about looking after ourselves and the environment - we put everything online and reduce paper waste. We have an active recycling scheme and are working at reducing our carbon footprint, and becoming even more sustainable.

Fitness has become a theme this year; we have joined the government cycle scheme which allows employees to purchase a bike and pay for it each month out of their wages. So this meant during the warmer months there was a steady number of gleaming bikes situated under the stairs. Jobsgopublic will also subsidise your gym membership, and with 2 local gyms (Fitness First and Virgin) it’s a great way to get active in your lunch hour.
