An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Northamptonshire
?s Fire and Rescue Service as a commercial vehicle technician. The successful applicant will join a team of experienced technicians who are responsible for maintaining a fleet of vehicles and equipment which are critical to the provision of fire and rescue services across the county. You should be an experienced, “time served” technician with a track record of compliance with transport, HSE and legal requirements. In house training will be provided on specialist equipment and products. In addition, you will be provided with the appropriate work wear, tools and PPE when appropriate. Candidates should have substantial experience of using transferable and demonstrable skills of working in the motor maintenance and repair industry. This experience is to include working on LGV‟s, vans and cars.
