We are looking to appoint Youth and Community Support workers to work as part of the Alternative Learning Team.

This is an initial fixed contract up to the end of the academic year but with the potential to continue on into the new academic year Starting September 2013 up to July 2014.

The Project is an YPSS provision for students across the borough who are either on long or short term exclusions.

The Youth & Community support Worker will work within this specialist area in accordance with the services Policy.

The Youth and Community Support workers role is to prepare and deliver the supportive educational offer made through the Inclusion project.

Successful candidates will need to respond flexibly to meet the curriculum offer that students within the project are focused upon in order to develop the knowledge, skills and understanding needed to achieve their academic and personal development targets.

Work Base – Various Location within YPSS building in Grimsby and Cleethorpes (E.g. Trin YPC & Clee YPC)
