The role of our Teaching Assistants is both challenging and rewarding. We are seeking applications from people with a commitment to securing high levels of service to pupils with complex learning difficulties.
The school provides excellent training and support to staff. Applicants should be able to demonstrate their potential to benefit from this and that they have the personal attributes to become effective in this specialist provision. The school practices the principles of the work-life balance (e.g. training is undertaken during the working day) however, the regular work is demanding and so too is the pace.
We are seeking candidates who are willing and able to work effectively with pupils and students who have multiple and complex needs and some who may have Challenging Behaviour in addition to Severe Learning Difficulties.
