North East Lincolnshire’s Family Resource Service provides a diverse range of family support interventions to meet the needs of vulnerable children/young people and their families. The key roles of the Family Resource Service are to provide preventative support packages to safely maintain children within their family network and to support children who are returning home from the Looked After System.
As well as holding a small case load, the post holder will hold line management responsibility for a group of Family Support Officers / Workers and will be required to supervise and review their workload.
Significant experience of work within a Child Care setting is essential. You must also have a good understanding of child development and be driven by a commitment to supporting children and young people to achieve positive outcomes.
This post will include some evening and weekend work as per an agreed rota.
