A New Way to Plan Our Future
North East Lincolnshire has ambitious plans to deliver economic growth. We have the largest deep port in Europe and we are already improving sustainable transport links to the whole UK market. We have made major improvements in the quality of our retail and cultural offer and embarked on a radical and extensive strategic partnership with Balfour Beatty; a groundbreaking initiative to enable the Council to focus on the task of driving change forward.
We are looking to recruit at least one client side transport professional to drive key components of this strategic partnership forward, whilst nurturing the positive and constructive working relationships we already have with other important partners.
To succeed you will need to demonstrate thinking beyond technical boundaries, and have commitment, tenacity and a drive to succeed, and be dedicated to high quality outcomes.
This role provides a fantastic career development opportunity if gaining experience in an industry leading partnership and driving real change are what is important to you. We need candidates who are able to think ahead and work with our partners to turn our plans into reality.
If so, this role provides you with an opportunity to make a big step forward in your career and to help deliver economic success in North East Lincolnshire.
For an infirmal discussion please contact Jason Longhurst Head of Development Tel (01472) 324875.
