As part of the Council’s commitment to the development of a modern pay and reward structure, we have an opportunity for a HR Officer Pay & Reward to join the HR team. This is a permanent position that will be varied, occasionally challenging, but also very rewarding.
The post will involve the coordination and chairing of Job Evaluation (JE) Panels, evaluating posts and maintaining JE records. It will also involve influencing the development, communication and administration of existing pay and reward elements including equal pay, pensions, childcare vouchers, employee discounts / special offers and much more. In the coming months it will also include the introduction of new elements of reward / benefits.
If you are passionate about rewards and benefits, have Job Evaluation experience (ideally GLPC or Hay), excellent communication and Microsoft Office skills and can keep yourself and others organised and motivated, then we would like to hear from you.
