North East Lincolnshire has a strong reputation for seeking to continually improve its very good fostering services. We now have a vacancy for a qualified and experienced Social Worker to join the established team of Fostering Social Workers based in Viking House, Grimsby . There is an extensive carer training programme in place and a strong emphasis on developing foster carer status. Although the full range of assessment, placement and supervisory support tasks will be undertaken, there is ample scope for additional specialist activity within the team. Support from Clinical Psychologists is a particular feature of the Council’s services to assist carers and children.
