Part time Teacher required for September 2012

One year fixed term contract.

Walderslade Primary school is a popular, oversubscribed school that has just moved into new buildings. We have friendly pupils and staff and supportive PTA.

We are looking to appoint a flexible, creative, enthusiastic teacher with high expectations of teaching and learning, which will enable pupils to reach their potential.

This one year post will involve class teaching in year 5 job sharing with our Deputy head. The successful candidate will be adaptable, ensure their teaching is interesting and relevant and be an excellent classroom practitioner.

We offer our enthusiastic children, supportive staff, new building and TAs to support the differentiated and cross – curricula work of classteachers in meeting the needs of pupils.

The successful candidates will be expected to

  • Model exemplary teaching
  • Be inspiring and creative in their approach to the curriculum
  • Understand the importance of assessment for learning
  • Work well with colleagues

NQTs and experienced teachers considered for these main scale posts.
