We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Development Programme Team in delivering high quality mixed tenured developments. You will be responsible for managing the clients role in the tendering of construction works, the delivery of works on site for new build and other capital projects, and successful handover of completed homes. You must be able to demonstrate extensive experience of delivering mix used residential development schemes within a commercial, highly customer focused environment. You will need to exercise tight financial control when dealing with procurement and programme management. As such, you will have a good degree of financial acumen and commercial awareness and be able to demonstrate excellent project management skills.
You will work closely with the other teams in the Development Division, our external consultants, and stakeholders across the organisation to ensure that L&Q achieve 100% client satisfaction with the new homes constructed. You will make a real difference in developing an effective, efficient and responsive quality management process to support L&Q’s corporate objective of achieving Customer Satisfaction Excellence.
The delivery of the development programme within approved business plans will be crucial, therefore it is essential you have experience covering all aspects of effective project management. This should include a successful track record in the management and delivery of complex development projects. You will need to demonstrate a firm understanding of policy implementation and experience of liaison with other stakeholders. An understanding of risk management, affordable housing and housing for sale is essential.
For this post you will need to demonstrate evidence of being pro-active and solution orientated with strong analytical and interpersonal skills. In addition, effective business planning and communication skills are required, along with proven experience in Project Management, budgetary control and a high level of computer literacy (Excel and Word).
