Procurement Specialist (Building Maintenance)
2 x permanent positions
1 x contract approx. 12 months
- ECU Allowance is paid in accordance with requirements of the relevant policy as updated from time to time.
As part of L&Q’s approach to meet the Government’s new challenges and demands on the social housing sector, we have a new Procurement Team within the Asset Management Department and are currently looking to recruit three enthusiastic, hard working Procurement Specialists to join us.
You will be an essential part of a team which is responsible for procuring large scale building related contracts for L&Q and ensuring we obtain the best value from our contracts. It is essential that you have excellent written and oral communication skills, as part of your role will be to liaise with other teams to produce complex tender and contract documents including key performance indicators, to ensure that the contracts are delivered to our high expectations. You will also review existing contracts to identify potential savings and efficiencies.
You will be required to manage the end-to-end procurement process, so will need a good level of experience in Public Sector and construction contract procurement. You should also possess a good understanding of European procurement legislation, leaseholder consultation and Health and Safety legislation.
