When you look for a new employer, choose somewhere that cares as much about its staff as it does about its customers. Like L&Q. For eight years running now, we have been listed by the Sunday Times as one of the top 100 companies to work for in the UK. While we’re very proud, it only confirms what our staff have known for ages, that we have long placed a strong emphasis on staff training, welfare and development. L&Q is a charitable housing association offering people the chance to buy or rent homes throughout London and the South of England.
An opportunity has arisen within the South Neighbourhood Services Division. This post covers housing and estate management across all tenures, resident Involvement and working closely with the regional based Neighbourhood Investment Team, Property Services and Development Teams.
You will be responsible for neighbourhood service staff delivering a broad range of services to our customers.
This is a period of growth in the South Neighbourhood with a number of new mixed tenure developments coming into management over the next two years. You will need to be adaptable and innovative to manage the new schemes whilst ensuring we continue to provide effective services and maximise customer satisfaction.
You will need great communication and organisational skills and a commitment to providing excellent and cost effective services for our customers.
To cover this challenging role you will need to demonstrate management experience, a sound understanding of current housing management issues, excellent communication skills, commitment to customer care, and the ability to develop services in effective and sensitive manner, a housing qualification would be an advantage.
