When you look for a new employer, choose somewhere that cares as much about its staff as it does about its customers. We place a strong emphasis on staff training, welfare and development. L&Q is a charitable housing association offering people the chance to buy or rent homes throughout London and the South of England.
The revenue department is responsible for collecting rent and for the provision of a revenue service to our residents.
You will be primarily responsible for recovering arrears mainly by telephone but also by letter. Arrears prevention is also a major part of the role involving ensuring that tenants are given relevant debt advice and services in order to maximise their income and resolve any queries or financial difficulties.
You need to have excellent telephone skills with previous experience in a target focused, telephone contact environment preferably with a background in credit control/arrears.
Skill sets of numeracy, administration, IT, customer care and communication are required. Knowledge of dealing with neighbourhood services and outside agencies would be an advantage.
Interviews will be held on 13th August 2012
