From September 2009 we will be offering 4 diploma lines in Creative and Media, Construction and the Built Environment, Society, Health and Development and Hospitality. We are applying for further diploma lines as part of the Gateway 3 process. We are keen to recruit a creative, dynamic and motivated practitioner with an ability to develop positive working relationships that will take forward our collaborative diploma offer to 2013 and beyond. The successful candidate will be ambitious, enthusiastic and keen to establish diplomas as a vibrant option for the young people of Waltham Forest. You will work closely with the Group Manager 14 – 19 and with senior colleagues and practitioners in schools, colleges and training providers. You will liaise with support agencies and partner organisations to ensure smooth processes are in place to facilitate diploma development and delivery. We have an established set of collaborative protocols and a track record of successful joint delivery in additional and Alternative Provision. The successful candidate will ensure that the collaborative work around the diplomas continues and expands in areas such as employer engagement, information, advice and guidance, use of the managed learning environment and functional skills.
