CLaSS has vacancies in the following subject areas. Please note that since September 2007, all staff new to teaching in the post-16 sector are required to pass the Certificate in Preparing to Teach in the LifeLong Learning Sector (PTLLS) within their first year of teaching. This training is offered free to all CLaSS staff.
Art, History, British Sign Language, Bookkeeping, CareChildcare, Childcare/Health and Social Care to 14-16 year olds, Child Protection/Safeguarding, Computerised Accounts – Levels 1,2,3 Computerised Payroll – Levels 1,2,3, Drama to learners with learning difficulties, English to 16-19 year olds,English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) – adult subject specialist qualified, First Aid,Food Safety CIEH – all levels Health and Safety CIEH – all levels.Health and Safety for Senior Executives IOSH
Lip-Reading, Literacy – adult subject specialist qualified, Makaton, Manual Payroll – Levels 1,2,3, Numeracy – adult subject specialist qualified,Turkish
QUALIFIED ASSESSORS AND INTERNAL VERIFIERS
Hours available range from 2 hours a week upwards, including evening and weekends –
(Actual hourly rate £20.43) working as part of a team
Qualified Assessors and Internal Verifiers with A1 and/or V1 qualifications and occupational competence for NVQs Level 1, 2 and 3 in the following subjects:
Accounting,Care, Play work, Business Enterprise,NVQ Childcare Assistants,Business and Administration,Customer Service Team Leading
