We are looking for a suitably qualified and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant who has a commitment to helping children with SEN, to join our team from September 2009.
You will work 30 hours per week.
The post will be paid on scale 3, point 14 – 17 pro rata.
You will be required to have at least NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification.
We are looking for applicants who have experience of working in a school as a learning support or teaching assistant. The successful candidate must have good literacy and numeracy skills as well as a flexible approach. Experience of supporting children with specific learning difficulties within Key Stage 2 essential.
The main responsibilities of the posts are to support particular children or groups of children with their learning working in close liaison with the class teacher and the Senco.
