Join our casual pool and make a difference to the lives of adults in Burnley.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and non judgemental individual to join our casual team and deliver stop smoking advice in a community setting. The community is now recognised as a prominent area to promote health and well being and support people to make a behaviour change.

Within this role you will work alongside the Council’s Healthy Lifestyle Tutors
and will need to hold a Smoking Cessation Certificate. You will need excellent communication, personal and people skills and be able to work as part of a team. You must be reliable and punctual and have knowledge and understanding of the wider determinants of ill health and poverty and why people make unhealthy choices. We are particularly interested in individuals who have experience of supporting people to make a behaviour change/s.
