Lancaster City Council is recruiting for a reliable Building Cleaner to perform and undertake cleaning duties at our offices and buildings. It would be an advantage to have experience of similar work, although full training will be provided. You will dust and polish, buff and mop floors, clean surfaces and empty bins. A flexible attitude to work is essential, as you may occasionally be required to provide cleaning cover to other Council buildings. Ability to communicate clearly and to understand written instructions is essential.
This temporary position is based at the Lancaster Market working 4.30pm to 6.30pm Monday to Saturday, with a night off in the week (10 hours per week).
