Manage and improve Lambeth Housing

Lambeth Living manages 29,000 properties in one of London’s most diverse, enterprising and vibrant boroughs. We are looking for talented and enthusiastic people who are passionate about providing good service. This role will develop and improve the services provided to leaseholders.Lambeth Living is starting a programme of works to bring all our buildings up to the Lambeth housing standard and we are recruiting additional staff for the major works team in homeownership to assist with collection, payment advice to leaseholders and other consultation duties.

Purpose of the job The role is to support the Service Charge Manager (Major Works) and assist with the supervision of the team. The team calculates major works bills, carries out section 20 consultation and recovers major works debt and provides assistance to Leaseholders and Officers. Working in the home ownership team we are looking for someone to help deliver an excellent customer service to our leasehold customers. We are looking for some one who is prepared to go the extra mile with every case and follow through and resolve customer queries. You will supervise staff including the collection officers who will be providing payment advice, attending surgeries/evening meetings and collecting service charges.
