This is a key role supporting the Waste Management unit based at our depot in Potters Bar. The role involves a wide range of administrative duties including dealing with payments and invoices, maintaining databases relating to the collection of commercial and clinical waste collections, liaising with clinical waste customers, responding to customer e-mails, producing spreadsheets and keeping all necessary records relating to the service.
We are looking for applicants with proven administrative experience in a varied role with financial elements. You will need to be well-organised and able to manage your own workload. The ability to work as part of a small team, a willingness to assist colleagues and to be customer focused is essential.
The post is offered on a permanent basis (36 hours per week) Benefits include 26 – 31 days annual leave (depending on the length of Local Government Service), final salary pension scheme, flexible working hours, free car parking and free use of leisure facilities.
