Travel SMART Engagement Officer

This is an exciting project orientated role to work on the high profile Travel SMART programme at Surrey County Council. Travel SMART is a programme designed to help residents and businesses cut carbon, calories and cost by helping people make better choices about travel.

As part of the team working to deliver a £20 million programme of transport improvements and behavoiural change activites, you will be responsible for planning and delivering community funding programmes, planning events and working with external parters to make the programme a success.

We are looking for somebody ideally with a background in sustainable transport, who has good project management skills and can work quickly and effectively under pressure.

This role is a fixed term contract from 1st October 2012 – 31st March 2015.
