Teaching Assistant

Leighswood School

Required from September 2012 on a fixed term contract for one year in the first instance. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed teaching assistant to support teaching and learning in our Nursery.
Our team is strong and experienced and our curriculum innovative.

You will need

• Experience of working in Foundation Stage in a school.
• An understanding of the EYFS and how to develop child-initiated learning
• An interest in developing learning outdoors
• To be a team player
• High expectations and high energy levels
• The ability to communicate well with children, parents and carers and colleagues
• Level 2 NVQ qualification or its equivalent (minimum)
