To start from 1 September 2012 Temporary for 12 months subject to funding

The Headteacher and Governing Body are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our hardworking and supportive team. We are a very successful Infant School with a Nursery.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience of working with and caring for children.
• Enthusiasm, dedication and energy.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• The confidence to use their own initiative when required.
• The commitment to promote and foster good relationships between children and with parents and colleagues.

You need to be:

• able to work under pressure, whilst remaining calm and patient;
• fully involved in the life of the school;
• confident, with clear communication skills and quick to assimilate information;
• forward thinking, willing to adapt to the changing needs of the school;
• able to promote the warm, caring and friendly ethos of the school to pupils, parents and other visitors.
