Support Worker

Origin Housing provides homes to approximately 12,000 people in North London and Hertfordshire and is passionate about providing support to its tenants and residents. Support Workers play a key role in achieving this.

This team is made up of five support workers working with adults with learning disabilities, mental health and substance misuse, in a supported housing scheme for 11 tenants in Islington, providing support to aid tenants to live independent lives.

The ideal candidate will have experience in working with people with learning disabilities and knowledge of issues facing adults with learning disabilities living in the community. Knowledge of current legislation regarding disabilities would be an advantage. Candidates should have a flexible approach, be a team player and available to work various shift patterns.

This role is subject to a clear enhanced CRB check.
