This is a 6 Month Fixed Term Opportunity

We are seeking a Sheltered Housing Manager to promote, encourage and support the continued independence and well-being of sheltered housing tenants by monitoring, enabling and meeting their necessary support needs.Within the role you will monitor tenants and work with tenants to provide support around their housing, care and support needs.The postholder will also work within a team of sheltered housing managers at sheltered schemes across Camden

You will need to have experience of working in a setting where you have supported older vulnerable people to enable them to live independently.You must also have the ability to work jointly with other professionals, family and customers to meet the needs of tenants and to achieve positive outcomes.

Key Requirements

  • National Sheltered Housing Certificate ( Desirable)
  • Able to work using own initiative, able to work without day to day supervision, and to deal efficiently with emergencies.
  • Able to work within a support plan framework, to ensure the continued independence of the tenants.
  • To consult with tenants around changes in the service or their support needs.
  • To have worked in role where you have supported tenants with independent living.
  • Experience of working with a range of service users and a commitment to the promotion of their independent living in the community.
