Job Summary

Service Development Manager

PO4: Starting salary £37,851 pa rising in annual increments to £40,506 pa incl. LW

This is an exciting opportunity for a role that will focus on developing and delivering new services within Lambeth’s parking team.

The Service Development Manager will have an understanding of parking legislation as well as excellent project management skills. They will act as a key liaison between Parking Services and its customer base. They will work closely with the Customer Experience Manager to develop the business through the delivery of all Parking Service projects and initiatives as part of an overall continuous improvement plan. They will contribute to the preparation of the Service’s strategic plan and support the implementation of new departmental and service priorities and initiatives ensuring that the departments are effectively and professionally represented and derive maximum benefits through their successful implementation.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate an understanding of the principals of programme management, particularly the role that a Programme Management Office can play in the successful delivery of service objectives and initiatives.
