Sales Negotiator

Do you have the skills to sell our homes?

We are looking for a motivated individual with experience of selling homes to join our busy Sales Team. Your work will centre on selling our New Build Shared Ownership residential homes. You will run sales viewings and be responsible for proceeding sales through to completion, take responsibility for the customer journey throughout the sales process, and build the reputation of Notting Hill Housing. You’ll work with a range of colleagues and external partners, including local authority representatives, agents and solicitors to ensure that your sales run smoothly and that your targets are met.

Communication skills will be critical to your success, not just when you’re dealing with prospective customers, but when you’re supporting colleagues and maintaining external relationships. You’ll have a good understanding of the house buying process and knowledge of the legal issues relating to Low Cost Home Ownership products. The role demands that you have the ability to devise and implement strategies in order to meet sales targets. Please note that this role will be required, depending on the needs of the service, to work occasional evenings and weekends. This role will be called ’Sales Consultant (Shared Ownership) internally.

Assessment: We have a tight turn around for the selection process for this role. As such please note the following:

The selection process for this role includes a technical assessment and interview (technical and competency based) on 7 June 2013, and for candidates successful at that stage, a role play exercise on 13 June 2013. Candidates will need to be available for two hours for the technical test and interview, and for about one hour and twenty minutes for the role play.
