Up to £45,000 plus car and pension
Location:Limeharbour (Docklands) with regular travel across London and South East region

Job Objectives
- To promote, establish and maintain QHSE & Compliance standards throughout the London & South East Portfolio under the guidance of the Principal
- To ensure that internal procedures are communicated, implemented, maintained and monitored across the region
- To undertake QHSE training and ensure training standards are maintained as per the MTFM and MITIE Group QHSE Training requirements
- To undertake QHSE inspections and audits as and when required to an agreed schedule across the portfolio
- To support management / staff in business processes and QHSE issues
Main Duties - Support the London & SE portfolio on QHSE and Compliance matters
- Promote a positive QHSE culture and demonstrate how proactive QHSE adds value to the business
- Develop and maintain internal audit and inspection regimes and nurture an ‘audit ready’ culture across the portfolio. Ensure audits & inspections are recorded and drive the completion of corrective actions.
- Build and maintain strong positive relationships with clientele and colleagues.
- Deliver QHSE training modules and briefing material to staff and client staff, as required
- Advise on management of building portfolio risks (e.g. asbestos, water hygiene, cooling towers)
- Monitor and report on statutory compliance across the portfolio
- Implement MTFM standards across the portfolio
- Undertake QHSE building/site audits and inspections
- Report on QHSE & Compliance performance
- Interface with relevant regulatory authorities (e.g. HSE, EA and LAs), if required
- Accident / incident investigation and reporting
- Undertake QHSE mobilisation of new contracts, as required
Experience Required - Sufficient experience of QHSE management
- NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent is essential
- Internal Auditor qualification and auditing experience
- Mechnical & Electircal service knowledge/experience
- General commercial awareness and ability to generate cost-benefit analysis for any initiative
- Sound project management skills and ability to multi-task
- Excellent influencing and persuasion skills with ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Good presentation and report writing skills
- Ability to effectively deliver QHSE training
- A sound grasp of the practical implementation of ISO 9001, 14001, OHSAS 18001 & QUENSH
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
