Runnymede Borough Council is looking to supplement its Planning team through the appointment of a Career Grade Planner, to work as a Planning Assistant in the Development Management Team. The post is considered ideal for anyone starting their career in Planning, either working towards or recently qualified, or wishing to move from a technical role in a Planning Service.

You must be educated to degree level with some knowledge and understanding of planning legislation and

some experience of dealing with customers. A qualification in Town and Country Planning (or similar) and/or

office experience involving customers will be an advantage.

You will be a self motivated individual with a relevant degree, good communication and report writing skills and a desire to progress your career. A proven dedication to customer service is essential.

Runnymede Borough Council is keen to support and develop staff within the Service and provides the future opportunity to be involved in all aspects of Planning including Enforcement, Policy and Strategy work.
