Two suitably qualified people to share a 27 ½ hour statement for a statemented child in Year 1. The successful applicant will work under the direction of the school SENCO supporting the child in the classroom with educational needs, moving and handling the child who is currently in a wheelchair and assisting with basic hygiene needs. The job also involves supporting the child at unstructured times e.g. lunchtimes and break times.
Training will be given to successful candidates.
Applicants should have some experience of working within a school setting and working with bilingual pupils and their families.
