Macmillan Cancer Support

Junior Brand Officer

£23,000 – £26,000 + benefits

London

Ref: 0901

In this dynamic and challenging role you’ll work on various programmes of brand activity. You’ll support the team in the implementation of our brand advertising activity, manage a volunteer to secure free advertising space and champion our work with internal stakeholders.

Everything you do will directly contribute to our ambition of reaching and improving the lives of people affected by cancer, and inspiring millions to do the same. Keen to join a small, busy brand team, you should have some experience of managing multiple projects and in working with corporate identity. You have impeccable attention for detail, a strong quality-focus, keen project management skills and a good understanding of brand. Importantly, you will also have the desire and drive to get under the skin of our brand in order to increase understanding, awareness and engagement with Macmillan – all of which requires excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.

You need not have worked in the charity sector before, so perhaps you are a brand assistant or marketing professional working for a known brand, and looking to step into a wider, charity brand-focused role. You may even be working in account or project management agency-side, as it’s your experience of planning, managing and evaluating effective brand or marketing projects and campaigns that will be pivotal in our decision to shortlist you.

In return for your commitment to us, we commit to actively developing you and our benefits include BUPA, life assurance, pension, childcare vouchers, generous annual leave, and interest-free loans for gym membership and season ticket.
