Salary: £73,305 rising in annual increments to £87,507+Redeployees have priority++

+An exciting opportunity has arisen with the London Borough of Lambeth for a Head of Legal Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing both the in house team and the external legal resources to ensure the provision of effective legal advice and representation to the Council across a wide range of services and functions. In addition the candidate will be expected to contribute to the development of and implementation of strategic policies with a focus on facilitating Lambeth’s cooperative council ambitions. The successful candidate will possess the political acumen and skill to work in a complex and challenging political environment, with the gravitas to command the respect and support of both senior management and members.
