Finance/Accountancy Officer

The Education Services are looking to appoint a Finance/Accountancy Officer to provide a financial accounting service to the Authority’s schools and assist with the monitoring of the “school’s” element of the Education Budget together with specific school related grants. Applicants should possess the Association of Accounting Technicians qualification (or equivalent). Also a sound knowledge of computerised financial systems and a range of IT skills to include spreadsheets and database preparation. The ability to communicate effectively in Welsh is desirable.
