Enjoy making a difference?
We are looking for energetic, outgoing and caring people to join Notting Hill Housing. You’ll provide the level of care set out in residents’ individual care plans, helping with everything from shopping and cleaning, to washing and giving medication in order to support the elderly residents at our care schemes and the young people with physical disabilities and learning difficulties at our other services. It’s a vital job that allows our customers to live with dignity, security and independence.
To do the job you must have good spoken English and practical skills such as cooking, cleaning and the ability to help older people with washing and dressing. We’ll be delighted if you already have care work experience but if you don’t, it’s not a problem. We will provide all the training you need and support you, so that you can achieve Skills for Care induction and a Diploma in Health and Social Care.
If you’ve got compassion, energy and enjoy helping people, please e-mail Alex Simkins, Care Bank Co-ordinator to submit your interest:
Please note that we are currently looking for female staff. Section 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010 applies to these posts, whereby being of a particular sex is a genuine occupational qualification, therefore these roles are open to female applicants only.
We will contact you with the next available date for you to come and see us for some first round testing and interviews.
If you are successful at all rounds of interviewing, you will be recruited on a zero hour’s contract and will be contacted as and when work becomes available.
We look forward to hearing from you.
