Corporate Finance Manager

About the role

Take on this senior opportunity reporting to the Head of New Business Finance, and you will use your strong accountancy and finance skills to support the development of new homes and new futures. You’ll build your profile throughout the organisation as you take charge of the financial planning, appraisal, and monitoring of major capital investment projects.
It’s a chance to work with councils, developers and colleagues on the full project lifecycle – from investment appraisal to delivery. You will oversee the maintenance of financial records, be responsible for the production of management reports and support the Head of New Business Finance to prepare annual capital budgets for the Group.

About the individual

• You’ll need to be a CCAB/CIMA qualified accountant or have a proven track record in financial analysis or corporate finance.
• Energetic and enthusiastic, reliable and resilient, you will have sound capital accounting, budget control, financial accounting and project appraisal skills.
• An excellent communicator, you will have the credibility and confidence to take the financial lead at all stages of capital investment negotiation.
• Experience of project appraisal, auditor liaison and modelling financial projects will also be essential to succeed in this role and make your mark.
