We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work in the integrated (Health & Social Care) Wokingham Community Mental Health Team.
We are a multi-disciplinary Team that works closely together to improve the lives of those with mental health problems living within the Wokingham Borough. You will be part of the Senior Management Group and support the Head of Mental Health and Service Manager to deliver effective and safe mental health services. You will be the AMHP Lead for the Mental Health Service in Wokingham and this will include managing the AMPH rota, co-ordinating training and be part of the re-approval process. You will be required to provide consultation on legal issues and update practitioners on case law. The role will also include renewing and updating relevant mental health policies as required.
The ideal candidate will hold a relevant Professional qualification in Social Work, Occupational Therapy or Mental Health Nursing. Experience of working in a community mental health setting and staff supervision are essential. All applicants must be practising AMHPs with substantial post qualifying experience. A commitment to safeguarding, social inclusion and Recovery is essential.
